For scheduling appointments, I use Microsoft Bookings, a service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. In this context, personal data such as name, email address and appointment preferences are processed. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures). As part of the use of Microsoft Bookings, data may be transferred to servers of Microsoft Corporation in the United States. Microsoft uses standard contractual clauses of the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Microsoft uses standard contractual clauses of the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

As part of my work as a practitioner for psychotherapy, I process personal data that may include special categories of personal data in accordance with Art. 9 GDPR (e.g. health data or information shared during sessions).
Processing is based on:

• Art. 9 (2) lit. a GDPR (consent)
For documentation purposes, notes may be taken during sessions. These are stored both in analog and digital form and protected against unauthorized access.
Data is stored only for as long as necessary for the provision of services and in accordance with legal retention obligations.
Data retention
Unless a specific retention period is stated in this privacy policy, personal data will be retained until the purpose of processing no longer applies. For data in therapeutic contexts, statutory retention obligations apply (generally up to 10 years).
